Michelle Watts, CPA - Senior Accountant

Michelle received her bachelor’s degree from Samford University in 1996 and a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Alabama in 1997. She earned her CPA in 1998. She joined Dent, Baker in the fall of 1997 and worked there until 2003 when she moved to Georgia. Michelle has recently moved back to Birmingham and has rejoined the firm.

While at Dent, Baker, Michelle has worked in many areas including both audit and tax. She has worked mostly with the firm’s wholesale/retail, automotive and small business clients. She also has experience with estates, trusts and individual taxes.

Michelle is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
