Patrick Barker joined Dent, Baker & Company, LLP in July of 2007 following the conclusion of his internship with the firm. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Patrick graduated magna cum laude with an accounting degree from Samford University in May 2007.
In October of 2008 Patrick earned his CPA designation. He was also the recipient of the Gold Medal Award, which recognizes the highest score in Alabama on the CPA exam.
Patrick works closely with partners and other accountants in the firm's assurance and taxation practices. He has worked in many industries, including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and not-for-profit.
Patrick serves on the Board of Directors of the Homewood Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
